Mission
At Little Stem Masters Foundation, we believe in the power of early exposure to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to shape the futures of our youngest learners. Our mission is to activate a lifelong passion and curiosity for STEM in children from ages 3 to 10, with a special focus on under-resourced communities. Through our holistic program, we translate complex STEM concepts into engaging, child-centric activities and hands-on experiences. By bringing cutting-edge STEM kits directly to community events and schools in disinvested zip codes, we ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to explore and learn in a way that is uniquely tailored to their age and needs. Our dedication to making STEM accessible and exciting for preschool through elementary school ages aims not only to educate, but to empower and inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
Our vision is a world where every child, irrespective of their zip code, has the opportunity to discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math from their earliest years. We imagine places where kids' curiosity turns into a love for learning, leading them to solve big puzzles with bravery and kindness. 25 years in Education, ESL and Speech Therapy
La Sonja Jordan Henderson owns and operates two high quality early childhood learning centers both of which are Texas School Ready Certified, meaning children who come through her program are ready for kinder. The schools offer childcare that works for the entrepreneur parent, parent in need of second income, student-parent, or couples who want a date night. Countless individuals have been able to grow their businesses and also further their education, due to the flexibility of this service. She currently has partnerships with two of the largest back up childcare providers and offers childcare solutions for corporate partners like Methodist, Texas Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital, Home Depot, Chase Bank, Shell, employees.
